Well, that was an interesting year for 2022.
The year didn’t start all that well for my family, as my dad was battling with prostate cancer again, after being in remission for 13 years. It had metastasised to the kidneys, and the doctors were doing everything they could to manage the spread. I flew up to Port Macquarie at the end of February and spent a few days with dad, which was great. On St Patricks Day (17th March 2022), dad succumbed to the cancer and shed his mortal coils. In talking with my step mother, Christine, he was in a fair bit of pain and was asking the Lord to take the burden from him, which He finally did. There was a small service for dad, with my brother Brandt and his wife Kelly, nephew Jarrod, good friend Scott, and step brother Lars in attendance. It was a lovely service.
I was still running my businesses IT Solutions And Marketing and Tassie Tiger Technologies. They are just keeping themselves in the black, but not able to provide an income for me yet. I am looking at other ventures, including becoming an Uber Driver.
For the year ahead, I will see how the Uber Driving goes, and the way Uber works I am unable to work as an Uber Eats driver and an Uber Driver. I understand why they do this, is to ensure that their brand is kept in the best light for their customers.
My health is going ok, and actually finding it better to sleep in a recliner than a bed, as I wake up now without my back aching, and actually feeling as though I had a fantastic night sleep.
