Here is the order of Service from the ANZAC Day 2016 Commemorations at George Town, Tasmania.

Disabled Diggers – Naval Cadets – Band – Colour Party – V.V Banner – President – RSL Sub Branch Members
Fire Brigades & Emergency Services – Schools, Cub Scouts
All other Marching Groups

10:55 – Cadets will form Catafalque Party after Parade arrives – Parade Marshall will have catafalque party mount the memorial
Sub Branch Secretary will announce – The Australian National Anthem “Advance Australia Fair” and New Zealand National Anthem
Sub Branch Secretary to introduce MC Michelle O’Byrne

1. MC will introduce the President of the George Town RSL
2. Mr Don Mackrill ASFM ESM OAM for the official welcome, and introduce our 2015 Bursary Winner
3. Star of the Sea Bursary winner – Mr Alex Wood
4. MC will introduce Padre of the day – Rev. Ian Wheeler
5. Padre will say prayers as appropriate
6. MC will introduce South George Town speaker – Bronte Miller
7. MC will introduce Guest Speaker – Mr John Martin, General Manager – George Town Council
8. MC introduces Padre to lead in the singing of Recessional Hymn
9. MC announces laying of wreaths and Legacy donations
10. MC invites Mayor Bridget Archer, George Town Council to speak
11. MC announces – Last Post – Minutes silence – Rouse

Parade Marshall to bring parade to attention – others upstanding
Sub Branch President recites “the Ode”
Minutes silence as flags raised to mast head
Sub Branch President “Lest We Forget”
MC will introduce Pipers Lament – Piper Chris Barraclough

Sub Branch Secretary advises those present, re ANZAC Display, Bar facilities, Midday Meal, entertainment etc. at Memorial Hall Complex.
